KB and the Riptides
Cleveland\’s Best Hyper Vintage Surf Rock Beach Party Band.
SURF\’S UP!! HANG TEN!! COWABUNGA DUDE!!
KB and the Riptides are an original and cover surf rock band (think Hawaii 5\’O, Wipeout, and Twist Music),
Meet KB and the Riptides.. KB, Dave and Scotty V.
\”the torch bearers of vintage surf and the definers of new hyper-surf.. they do it all\”
KB and the Riptides are a professional musical group, family friendly, and well respected in the music community. They perform remake covers of great summertime twist, beach and surf rock classics (vocal and instrumental and/or ORIGINAL selections depending on the venue and the listeners)
If the setting onstage is dark, they utilize a spectacular light display that incorporates fog and club laser lighting with their music and often they are joined onstage by the beautifully exotic and fabulously colorful Belly Dance Bombshells.
Along with showcasing at the local hot spots, KB and the Riptides have performed at many prestigious venues and functions including The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Guitar Mania, The Taste of Cleveland,
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Cleveland outdoor lunch time concert series and various car show cruise-in’s. They have also donated their musical skills to benefit the United Way, MDA, MS, Guiding Eyes and Waiting Child just to name a few. You can see they have strong roots in their local community and share their talents for good causes.
KB is also a Cleveland Icon Award recipient from the
Cleveland Entertainment Coalition, shared with the likes of Michael Stanley, Joe Walsh, the Belkins and many other Cleveland greats.
